Winter aconite is a tuberous flowering perennial that is a common grown plant on woodlands. It has yellow cup-shaped flowers the appear during the course of winter through spring. While it may contain some poisonous toxins that may harm humans and animals, it still can be of great attraction when grown in the backyard giving you striking blooms of gold. Also, winter aconites are best paired with snowdrops as well as some blue pulmonarias.
