How can anyone possibly don't have an Eastern Prickly Pear in their succulent collection? A low-growing perennial cactus that has waxy flowers and sometimes has red spot in its center. Its best performance comes through summer as wherein it can provide you the most beautiful of its flowers. Its fruit is also edible as it's sometimes used in making candies and jam. Thrives best under a full sun on a well-drained soil, and a perfect addition to rock gardens or desert gardens.
