The plant known as ribes alpinum or often called ‘alpine currant' is a shrub most native to European Areas such as Norway and Finland. It's known for its juicy red fruit that resembles a redcurrant but often produce a bland taste. They thrive best on either a full sun or full shade but is highly recommended under a full sun for best performance. And perhaps the only problem to look out for in alpine currant are leaf spots.
